This month last year, my co-blogger and a sister in Christ visited Cebu for a business trip. We really planned a week before her arrival to go to a cozy and instagrammable spots nearby the city because she knew that she has a jam-packed schedule during her stay. The first thing that came into my head was the iconic Cebu cafe – La Vie Parisienne along Salinas Drive in Lahug!
La Vie Parisienne is one of the restaurants that captured my interest. It is not particularly new but it has a romantic ambiance and I figured that it’s a great place to spend a night to chill, chitchat or catch up for hours with a friend. They offer pastries, flavored ice creams, pasta, pizzas, different types of cheese, coffees, and a lot of selections of wines. What I usually order there are pizzas and wines with its cheap prices that range 300-500 Php, good for sharing! 🙂
I also love the place because of its beautiful interior design! It resembles the view with a perfect blend of design that will surely replicate and made me feel like I’m really in Paris! Their wine cellar is a “plus” as well for a one of a kind spot to take good photos. Never mind that the most memorable element is the veranda covered with fake cherry blossoms. They look unusually awkward up close, but beautiful when lit up at night. I already posted a short vlog on my Youtube channel for this trip that you might want to check, just click here.
So, what do you think? Add this French-inspired restaurant on your bucket list once you’re here in the Queen City of the South – Cebu!
That’s my friend and ate Joan!
HOW TO GET THERE La Vie Parisienne is located at 371 Gorordo Avenue, Lahug, Cebu City, near the big Mormon church. Cebu jeepneys have route numbers and if you’re from Ayala, you may take the 04L route going to Lahug. It will surely pass you by at the restaurant. Or you can simply ride a taxi or Grab for the easiest way.
